Our volunteers from diverse backgrounds with a wide variety of skills, expertise and lived-experience, play a pivotal role in designing and delivering each program. Their dedication, passion and energy or ERCNSW programs yields many positive benefits to camp participants and, in turn, the experience of volunteering provides a variety of opportunities to develop skills, networks, and make a significant contribution towards positive social change. it really is win, win!

Getting involved is simple - check out the steps outlined below and get in touch if you have any more questions. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Volunteering on an Edmund Rice Camp is such an amazing experience!
You'll get to meet a bunch of new people, make a difference in the children's lives and help build a stronger community. There are a variety of roles on offer, so whatever your skill or passion, we want you to join our community.

Camp Costs

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has had a severe impact on our bottom line. Accordingly, we've had no choice but to increase the fees for both volunteers and campers. We ask new volunteers for a $100 donation to attend camp. This contribution does not cover the full cost/head on camp but will assist ERCNSW with some of the costs associated with training, accommodation, food, resources and administrative tasks. When you return to camp, volunteers are asked to make a $60 contribution to each camp.

We are always looking to reduce the cost of camp for families and volunteers alike.

If you are experiencing financial distress, please contact us.
